Developed over 150 years ago as pilot boats to bring in sailing craft, gigs are now used for competition in the West Country. Our gigs were built in the Olympic year and are ideal for introducing people to the water. Each boat can accommodate six people and will give participants the best entry experience into rowing.

For larger numbers, we suggest combining your rowing event with another activity.

Coaching will be given by our experienced event team, with participants given a full safety briefing on land prior to going out onto the water.

Each of our event spaces comes complete with lakeside views, access to outside dining spaces, and modern flexible interiors - what you use them for is up to you.

If you need a meeting space before or after your activity? We can combine a meeting package to suit your needs.

Space to relax? Our spaces can become your hub, wether you choose an activity to take place within our grounds or within the space itself. We can provide a range of catering options to suit your needs from breakfasts to buffets and barbecues.
