Dorney Boat Club is part of Eton College's outreach programme.

It aims to encourage local residents to learn to row and be physically active in a safe and fun environment.


Facts About the Club

  • Membership is open to juniors and adults
  • For juniors the minimum age is 12 years old up to 18 years old
  • Many join as a result of rowing sessions with their school as part of our Dorney Lake Schools Rowing Programme but individual juniors are very welcome
  • It is not a requirement to attend every session
  • It is recommended to bring a change of clothing in case you get wet
  • Sessions are led by Rowing Manager Hannah Vines (UKCC L4)
  • All coaches are DBS-checked to enhanced level
  • Parents are encouraged to join in when attending with their children and help support the juniors getting afloat and back onto land

Session Times and Membership Information

  • Junior session - Wednesday's from 6.00pm to 8.00pm
  • Junior session - Sunday's from 2.00pm to 4.00pm
  • Junior single session is £6.00
  • Junior annual subscription £140.00
  • Another option for juniors is a £17.50 monthly membership, payable in advance
  • Adult session - Thursday's from 6.00pm to 8.00pm
  • Adult single session is £6.50
  • Prices are inclusive of VAT.

The Thursday Adult Rowing Class at Dorney Lake is a good workout in a fun atmosphere, suitable for any age.
